About Us

Charlie’s Long Smoked BBQ has been a long step-by-step process to where we are now. It started back in 2020, when we started our own seasoning business to help people make their very own sausage, bologna, and jerky at home, thus The Seasoned Butcher. From this business and chatting with people from all over the United States, we worked hard on coming up with our own private labeled BBQ Sauce and BBQ Rub. As we fine-tuned our BBQ rub and BBQ sauce, we were smoking meat every weekend. We would invite friends, family and neighbors over to taste test and give us feedback. Before we knew it, our little weekend taste testing started to turn into being asked to start catering. Once this all got established and fine-tuned, we turned another chapter in this business and started Charlie's Long Smoked BBQ. Picking the name was the hardest part, but after over 200 suggested names, we came up with Charlie’s Long Smoked BBQ. We typically spend 12-16 hours smoking brisket and pulled pork, so we thought the name was fitting. Now we have created another business to help promote and get our other business products (BBQ Sauce and Rub ) into customers hands, but most importantly on their taste buds. This is the main staple on our food trailer. This has always been a dream of mine to have a food truck or restaurant. I love to cook and enjoy seeing happy faces when people try our food. Our small success so far has come from the passion we put into each event. One thing we have learned so far with both businesses: Never be in a hurry to rush the process and always keep an open mind to what might come your way!
